Bill Bonner is easily one of the most entertaining and insightful thinkers ever to write about financial matters. "Brilliant" really doesn't do his intellect, wit and abilities at communication justice. I literally drew strength from his Daily Reckonings during the buildup to and the darkest moments of the 2008 financial crisis, which I leveraged, to my great advantage, as a source of conviction that helped motivate my housing bubble-sitting days... a worthy investment indeed!
Bill McBride, the blogger behind the famed Calculated Risk blog (now on substack!) is by far the most level headed, sensible and, frankly, accurate macroeconomic forecaster on the inter-webs. Never a single hyperbole has ever (really… zero, nada, never ever) passed through his carefully crafted analysis and inventive charting through which he very skillfully and clearly demonstrates to readers where the major macroeconomic trends are heading.
